Hello stamping friends! I'm starting a new series that will focus on handmade Thank You notes, since I find myself creating many of these special cards each month. Whether it's thanking a customer from a workshop or online order, or thanking someone in my everyday life, I have a delightful need for these cards and thought you might enjoy seeing samples of quick and easy Thank You note designs.
Here is a VIDEO showing how I put this card together, but if you would like a closer look at the cards, keep reading...
For the first card in this series, I needed a pile of Thank You notes for a recent Stampin' Up! workshop, to thank some customers. I have several packages of the Lily Impressions DSP from the current Sale-A-Bration promotion, and knew I wanted to incorporate that paper in my design.
I chose two patterns that complement each other and worked well with my Bermuda Bay and Highland Heather/Purple Posy color-scheme. I used the Stitched Shapes dies as well as the Layering Squares dies to create the square sentiment panel. The sentiment is from the So Sentimental stamp set, and this set is also offered as a bundle, with coordinating dies in the new Spring Mini catalog.
The finishing touch was adding a little shine with the bermuda bay sequins from one of the Sale-A-Bration gifts with a $50 order. These have since discontinued so I'm sorry for the tease. The Lily Impressions DSP is still available, however, as a free item with a $50 order.
