Thankful Thursday Card: Banner Year Bundle

It's been a while since I shared a Thank You note here on the Queen City Stamp Art Blog! I had a to create a bunch this week and I'm sharing the process HERE. If you'd like a closer look at this sweet and simple card and the products used to make it, keep reading...

I started with a tone on tone card base of Whisper White and embossed the layer panel with the Tin Tile Embossing Folder.

I then cut a circle using the Stitched Shapes dies out of Plaid Tidings DSP and layered that panel onto the embossed panel. I cut a leaf sprig out of Cajun Craze card stock using a die from the Sunflower dies (which are part of the Sunflower bundle). I took another strip of Whisper White card stock and cut it to 1 x 3.5" and put it into the Banner Punch to get the banner end. I stamped it with a sentiment from the Banner Year stamp set using Cajun Craze ink. The punch and stamp set make up the Banner Year Bundle and you save 10% when you purchase the products together in a bundle. The finishing touches were a couple of gems from the Elegant Faceted Gems and a little bow of Linen Thread. These cards come together very quickly and they're perfect when you need a bunch! The beauty here is that you could substitute a birthday sentiment or plain Hello if you needed a different type of card, so the design itself is very versatile.

So I used a variety of different Stampin' Up! products on this very simple card design. One of my favorite aspects of Stampin' Up! are the way that their products coordinate. They arrange for suites of product to work together, making it easy to create beautiful cards, but you can mix product from different suites and get a great outcome too. The creative options are endless!!

I hope this card inspires you to mix and match products in your own stash!
