Hey friends! I'm back again this Friday, as promised, to share another fun freebie from Sale-a-Bration, this week the Hippest Hippos stamp set and Hippo dies. You can choose either the stamp set or dies with your $50 order (before tax/sh) OR spend $100 and get BOTH (which I totally recommend). These work so well together and all of the extra detail dies you get in the Hippo die set make the Hippest Hippos stamp set that much more wonderful!! You can see how I put the card together today by clicking HERE. If you like the video, please give it a thumbs up!! That really helps increase my reach and I so appreciate it.
This card was really quick and easy to put together. I kept it super simple because I really wanted the focus to be on the hippo! I used a base card in Basic White Thick added a layer panel of Pale Papaya cut with the Layering Circles dies to include that cute scalloped edge on the circle. The card stock colors for the flowers are Mango Melody and Polished Pink. I love how "groovy" they look with the hippo and the cute sentiment. In the video I share the ink colors of Stampin' Blends alcohol markers I used, in case you were wondering. The background of the white circle was embossed with the Quatrefoil embossing folder, to add a little texture and interest.
I hope this hippo card makes you smile!! To see the other two I created with this set, please watch through to the end of the video and I go over those designs and the elements I used to make the card special.
On a side note, my Christmas in July card class registration is closing on 7/18/22 at midnight, so be sure to register by this weekend so you don't miss out!! I can ship the kit to anywhere in the USA and I'll email you the link to the video tutorial so you can see how the cards go together. This is a great class for a beginner, since you need minimal supplies to complete the cards. I hope you'll give one of my "to go" classes a try---you won't be disappointed!! You can register HERE if you're seeing this message before 7/19/22.
Thanks so much for giving my Hippest Hippo card a look! I appreciate your interest and if you need any of the supplies I mentioned, feel free to SHOP HERE, anytime!!
Thanks so much and I'll see you Sunday with another fun watercoloring technique on Clean + Simple Sunday! xo Kris
