Happy World Card-making Day, friends!! Yes, every first Saturday of October card makers around the world celebrate this fun little "holiday" to celebrate the joy of our craft the way we bless others with the gift of a handmade card. A TON of handmade cards get sent out the second week of October---I know I'll be sending several. It's just a nice way to spread love and cheer.
I was so excited when my monthly FREE Coffee + a Card Class fell on World Card-making Day! I also have a friend coming over for Card Buffet at my house, today, and then I'll be celebrating with Stampin' Up! by attending their Virtual Event at 4:00 today, so it's a day full of card-making and I couldn't be happier!!
For the projects today, I'm using the Modern Garden bundle from Stampin' Up! as well as the Garden Walk 6x6 Designer Papers that coordinate with this suite. We're going be making two cute fun fold cards and decorate a scalloped gift card/treat box and get it all ready for giving during the holidays.
If you'd like the kits all pre-cut and ready to go for these projects, just place a $35 order or more using THIS LINK by Wed, 10/11 and I'll put them in mail to you so you can create these projects too. If you'd like the bundle I'm using in the class, it's item# 162235. The cost of this bundle is $41.25 USD, so if you purchase the bundle (which is the stamp set and coordinating punch) you'll earn the kits free! Stampin' Up! is sweetening the deal... place an order of $75 or more between Oct 9-11, 2023 and you'll receive FREE SHIPPING, too!
The purchase is optional, the class really is FREE. I'm demonstrating the projects over in my VIP Facebook group. You can join that group HERE to catch my free classes every month and to hear about Stampin' Up! specials, get some creative inspiration and just be in the fold of everything Queen City Stamp Art.
If you'd like to prep the kits yourself, with items you already have on hand, you can find the cutting guide for the kits HERE.
I hope you'll enjoy some time crafting today, celebrating the art of the hand made card and then spread the love by sending your cards out next week to help brighten someone else's day!
I'm going to leave you with some photos of the projects from today... enjoy and thanks so much for your interest.
