This week I used the Butterfly Gala stamp set from Stampin' Up! to create a clean and simple note card. You can check out the video right HERE.
This card came together so nicely... I used a Sahara Sand base card cut to 8.5x5.5 and scored at 4.25 to make a side-folding card. I then used my 2" circle punch to cut a circle in Seaside Spray. This is one of the new In-Color colors for 2019-2021 and probably out of the five new colors, my favorite. I also used the Starburst punch to create a circle mat in whisper white for the 2" Seaside Spray circle. Once all of the pieces were cut, I did my stamping.
I took a butterfly image from the Butterfly Gala stamp set and inked it up in Momento Black ink. I love the contrast of black and white paired with a color. I used the coordinating butterfly duo punch to snip out the butterfly that I stamped. I have to say, for as much as I love my Big Shot and die sets, having an assortment of basic punches makes for some quick and easy card-making!!
One of the most lovely embellishments that came out with the five new In-Colors this year, is the scalloped linen ribbon in each of the new colors. It's only 1/2" wide and its so pretty and so dainty. I love the texture and interest it adds to even the most simple card design.
I hope you enjoyed the card today... thanks so much for stopping in to see what I've been up to! You can get all of the supplies I used to make this card in my Stampin' Up! SHOP.
Until next time...
