Clean + Simple Sunday: Abstract Impressions

Today I'm featuring a clean and simple card design using the Abstract Impressions stamp set and a fresh, summer color palette from Stampin' Up! You can watch the video HERE.

This is a quick and super easy card design that you can do with any bold flower in your stamp stash, using minimal supplies. I took a top-folding card base of 4.25x5.5" and a 3x1" strip of granny apple green card stock plus a smaller scrap of silver glimmer card stock to create the sentiment panel.

I used Flirty Flamingo and Calypso Coral ink colors layered together for the flowers and Granny Apple Green ink for the leaves. To get the lighter and darker versions of the Granny Apple Green ink, I stamped off on scrap paper before stamping onto my project panel to get the lighter, base layer of the leaves. I then stamped the accent layer of the leaves in the full-strength color.

I hope you enjoyed the card project today! I welcome your comments! If you would like to order the stamp and pierce mat that I mentioned, you can do that HERE.

Thanks so much for your time and enjoy the rest of your day!
