I haven't played with the Poppy Moments dies in ages! Sometimes its really fun to go through your stash and see what you haven't used in a while and give it some love!! This die set pairs beautifully with the Peaceful Moments stamp set and I highly recommend using them together to create lovely cards for a variety of occasions. To create this card, I die cut flower and leaf images using that Poppy Moments die set, all except for the stem, which I cut using my trimmer. I also used a die cut banner shape for my sentiment using the Stylish Shapes dies. I layered the dies together with liquid adhesive and arranged them on the card front. I used a panel of the beautiful gold foil stripe pattern from the FREE Silver + Gold 6x6 DSP pack and matted it with basic black card stock. The base card is in Soft Sea Foam. To embellish, I just took a piece of the gold trim from the Elegant trim pack and make a large bow for underneath my sentiment panel.
I love how this card came out---so bold and fresh but clean and simple, too. The gold foil on the DSP is a perfect backdrop for this beautiful poppy.
