This week I'm bringing you a clean and simple card using supplies from the Whimsy and Wonder Suite of products from Stampin' Up! The collection provides one of each item--Designer Series Paper, the Stamp Set, Die Set, Snowflakes and that pretty pink ribbon. You can watch the VIDEO to watch me build this card, or keep reading for a closer look ...
Although my own Christmas card creations are typically in a more traditional color palette, I love the pink and green combo in this delightfully whimsical card! I used several of the products in the Whimsy & Wonder Suite from the Stampin' Up! July-Dec Mini Catalog to create this card--- the layered Christmas tree dies, the stamp set for the sentiment, the pink patterned paper in the background as well as the laser cut snowflake embellishment. I also used a scalloped rectangle panel from the Stitched so Sweetly dies (a staple of mine) and some baker's twine and rhinestones from the Annual catalog.
In addition to layering up these products for the card today, I also created a sample that shows this exact card layout using a more traditional Christmas color palette... what do you think? Do you prefer the more traditional colors or the fun, whimsical colors? Please let me know in the comments! For the more traditional card, I chose a DSP pattern from the Tidings of Christmas 6x6 paper pack in the Annual Catalog. The tree is layered using the Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent card stock colors. I truly like them both very much. I've been having fun playing with this suite of product and will have more to share here and on Instagram through the season, so if you like this one and need some ideas please check back! Thanks for spending time with me today. If you need any supplies you can order HERE. I appreciate your support of my business.
