Hello there! Today I am sharing a fun card design using the Merry Moose Bundle from Stampin' Up! You can see how this card came together by watching the VIDEO, or keep reading for more specific information about the supplies used and a closer look at the card.
The Merry Moose bundle is a carry-over from last year's Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog and I was so happy to see this product show up this year because I never had the opportunity to order it last year. It sold out relatively quickly and by the time it was back in stock I was moving on to the Spring Mini catalog product. As a demonstrator with Stampin' Up! I get an early look and a pre-order period to get my hands on products before they are widely available. It's one of my favorite perks of being a demonstrator and one you can enjoy as well, if you join my team.
For this card, I chose a color palette of Very Vanilla, Soft Suede and Garden Green. The limited color palette of two neutrals + one earthy color gives this card a tranquil vibe and keeps it in the "clean + simple" category. Even the embellishments are neutral in color, but add enough texture to make the card interesting, not busy.
In addition to the Merry Moose bundle of stamp set and moose punch, I used the Tasteful Textiles embossing folder for the base layer panel, wrapped with the linen ribbon from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack wrapped with linen thread. I used ink pads in Soft Suede and Garden Green and a panel of Garden Green card stock cut into a rectangle using the Layered Stitched Rectangle Dies. I used dimensional adhesive to pop up the moose off the card front and also the whole Garden Green rectangle layer off the card. I also used the Flowers for Every Season Gems to embellish and the Fine Tip Glue Pen to attach those gems to the card front.
This is a cute card that would be easy to create in multiples for your Christmas card this year. It would also make a cute winter birthday card with the appropriate sentiment.
