This week I'm using the sweet and adorable Springtime Joy stamp set to create the clean and simple card. You can check out the VIDEO or keep reading for a closer look at this cute card...
I started with a base card of Basic White and added a stitched circle die cut from 6x6 Designer Series Paper in the Subtles color palette. I stamped the fluffy sheep using Gray Granite ink and colored in the wreath on its head using Stampin' Blends markers in Flamingo and Granny Apple Green. I added a leafy sprig in Granny Apple Green using the Forever Flourishing dies to the bottom of the stitched circle with a little bit of tape runner adhesive. I cut the sheep out of the Basic White card stock scrap using my scissors since there are no dies to coordinate with this stamp set. The cutting was super easy and it literally took me about a minute. I added the sheep image to the card front with a little tape runner on the bottom and a mini dimensional adhesive dot behind his head to pop his upper body off the card front. This allowed me to stamp out a sentiment strip and tuck it right in behind the sheep. To finish off this card I added a linen bow and a metallic pearl in silver.
This was a quick and easy card, perfect for Easter or just a hello to welcome Spring!
Thanks for checking out the card today! The Annual Catalog retirement list posted on Thursday 3/25 here on my blog. If you're interested, please take a look and see if there's anything you want before it's gone forever. This sale is while supplies last or May 3rd, whichever comes first.
