Hello friends! I'm sharing a pretty birthday card this week, using the Pretty Pumpkins bundle from Stampin' Up! You can watch the VIDEO or keep reading for a closer look...
I have a bunch of Fall birthdays coming and I need to create some seasonal birthday cards. I pulled out the Pretty Pumpkins bundle to create these birthday cards. I took a sheet of Rich Razzle-berry cardstock and created two base cards by cutting it in half leaving me with two pieces measuring 5-1/2 x 8-1/2". I scored these down the center and ended up with a base card measuring 5-1/4 x 4-1/4 (A2). I layered on a panel of Very Vanilla measuring 4-1/4 x 3-1/4" and then took some strips of Blackberry Beauty DSP and adhered them to the layer panel. The pumpkin image was stamped with Cinnamon Cider ink on a panel of Cinnamon Cider cardstock and die cut using the pumpkin dies. I stamped the sentiment on a strip of Very Vanilla and added it to my card. To decorate the pumpkin, I die cut a large leaf out of Gold Foil cardstock and added it to the stem, as well as a small bow of linen thread. To finish off the card, I added some metallic pearls in gold. I love the sweet simplicity of these festive, Fall birthday cards and can't wait to give these to some friends having birthdays in late October/early November.
I hope you enjoyed the cards for today! Please leave any questions you might have in the comments and thanks for dropping by this week.
