Hey friends!! Today I'm sharing a clean and simple card that incorporates a fun technique, too! Even us clean + simple girls love a cool technique sometimes!! You can watch the video for this technique by visiting HERE. Keep reading for a closer look as some of the cards I created with this beautiful technique...
So it's been a couple of weeks since I posted a clean and simple card... I've been busy getting ready for different craft fairs and vendor events and sometimes I honestly run out of gas... or more like IDEAS to share with you when I need to come up with something on demand. This week I'm bringing you something special--not just a clean and simple CARD, but a clean and very simple TECHNIQUE, you just need to have the right tools and with that I mean you need some 99% isopropyl alcohol and a paint brush. It also helps to have one of those awesome Stampin' Up! silicone craft sheets, but if you don't have one, just be sure to protect your work surface with paper towels and a placemat.
So if you watched the video, you saw how I created that pretty, colorful background. Here a a few photos of the projects I created---the one on camera, plus the two I also shared. These were other samples I created off-camera, to show you a bumped up version of cards made using this painted vellum technique.
I also created the pained vellum background by smooshing the vellum panel into some re-inker dots I had spread around on my craft sheet... It was a more controlled look but very vibrant and i love how the panel (and the card!) came out...
I so hope you enjoyed these cards today! Feel free to pin these ideas to Pinterest and I hope that when you have a few minutes to play in your crafting space you'll think of this technique and give it a try yourself! It can be very inspiring and it really does make you feel like an artist.
I just wanted to mention before I sign off, that registration for my STAMP-A-STACK Class is finally OPEN!! It will only stay open for another 5 days so register soon!! You can check out all the details
HERE.
Enjoy your week and I'll see you back here next Sunday!!
