Clean + Simple Card: Merriest Moments

Hey friends! This week I'm shifting my product focus from the 2022-23 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalog to the July-December 2022 Mini Catalog. It's time to get into so holiday inspiration with summer coming to a close this month. Today I'm sharing a clean and simple card I created using the Merriest Moments stamp set. This set is the featured stamp set for the virtual CREATIVE RETREAT that I'm hosting later this month on Facebook. Registration is closed for the retreat, but stay tuned for sneak peeks from the event the last week in September, especially if you're curious about what a virtual CREATIVE RETREAT entails. I also used this stamp set to create a cute Quick and Easy card this week and you can watch that short video HERE, for a bit more inspiration.

My clean and simple designs often include a basic white embossed layer panel and this card is a great example. I love the texture that an embossed layer provides, without a lot of distraction. It's a very subtle way to add interest to a simple card design. I used the Timber 3D embossing folder for this card, mostly because the images I stamped were botanicals and the woodgrain pairs so nicely with the pine bough imagery on this card. I started with a base card of real red this time, mostly to bring in a bit more red to the overall design. The pine sprig die cut is from the Christmas Banners die set. There are a few other Christmas botanical detail dies in that set that I know I will use throughout the holiday season on different paper-crafted projects. So fun!

I used a banner strip and a focal panel that I cut using the Stylish Shapes dies. I love the dotted detail on the edge of these dies, making them look stitched.

This is a simple, lovely, traditional holiday card and very easy to create in multiples.

I hope you enjoyed the card for today. This stamp set and die bundle are so versatile, I know I will have more cards to share with you using these products, over the coming weeks.

Thanks for checking out the card today!! Have a wonderful week!! ~ Kris
