Hello friends! Today I'm sharing a card I created using the Kite Delight stamp set from Stampin' Up! You can watch the video to see how this card came together HERE, or stay on this page for a closer look at the card.
This card was so fun and easy to create and I love the cheerful colors! I used a Basic White Thick base card, panels of Pool Party and Basic Gray and the kite and sentiment were stamped in Poppy Parade ink (the kite stamped on Poppy Parade card stock). Poppy Parade is a warm, bright red, perfect for cheerful birthday cards!
Using a white gel pen, I created a kite string by drawing it onto the base panel using a ruler. Popping up the kite with dimensional adhesive adds a fun dimension. By stamping the sun and clouds in Pool Party ink on Pool Party card stock it adds interest while keeping the design simple.
