Today I'm sharing a Clean + Simple card that was inspired by the Freshly Made Sketches challenge blog! If you like this card layout, be sure to click HERE to visit the site and see more inspiration for this clean and simple design.
So you all know how much I'm enjoying the In the Pines bundle from Stampin' Up! This is a fun, versatile year-round stamp set that's perfect for Christmas, Thinking of You and Sympathy cards. In my example, I used scraps from Feels Like Frost 6x6 paper pack. I cut them to 7/8" x 2.5" and used two of the different patterns for a total of 4 pieces. I also used the largest scalloped rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly dies to create the panel where I glued on the DSP strips. I used Garden Green ink to stamp the little grove of trees, then die cut them out using the coordinating die. I stamped the sentiment on a strip of Whisper White card stock using Cherry Cobbler ink. I used Dimensional adhesive to pop the scalloped rectangle panel off the card front and to lift up the sentiment and tree grove, too. Adding dimension makes any card more interesting!
I hope you enjoyed my card for today. If you'd like to watch the video to see how this card came together click HERE. Thanks for having a look!
