Clean + Simple Card: In Symmetry

Today I pulled out my In Symmetry stamp set and paired it with the Sweet Symmetry Designer Series Paper to share a Clean & Simple card that I love. This Suite of product is fresh and fun! I love the build-a-flower style stamp set in the folk art theme. The papers are divine for mixing and matching the colors are vibrant and happy. Such a quick and easy card for today but I enjoyed playing with the products.

You can watch the VIDEO or keep reading for a closer look at the card... Here is a link to a card tutorial with shopping list.

I started with a Basic White base card cut to 11 x 4-1/4 and scored on the long edge at 5-1/2" I layered on a panel of Night of Navy card stock in 4 x 5-1/4" and then a layer of DSP cut to 3-3/4 x 5. I stamped out the largest flower using Daffodil Delight ink and the largest leaves using Granny Apple Green ink and trimmed those images out with my snips. I stamped a sweet sentiment in Night of Navy ink on a strip of Basic White and used my Tailored Tag punch to trim the banner ends.

I layered the flower onto the card first, with tape runner adhesive, then added the sentiment strip with dimensional adhesive to pop it up, then finally added the leaves beneath the sentiment.

To finish off the card I added some white bakers twine from the Baker's Twine Essentials Pack and a few sequins from the Artistry Blooms sequins.

I hope you enjoyed the card for today and it inspires you to get a little inky yourself!!
