Hello there stampers!! Today I'm sharing a fun card and incorporating some new products from the Annual Stampin' Up! Catalog for 2021-22. You can watch the VIDEO, or keep reading for a closer look at these cards...
I love the Daisy Garden stamp. I loved it the first time I saw someone demonstrate it back before the catalog launched. The sketchy look of the image, the scale---love this nice, big format--and a big background stamp like this is really versatile. I'll be showing several samples this year, using this stamp in a variety of different ways!
Today I decided to keep it simple, since that's my Sunday theme, and I just used a section of the image in my card design. I think what makes clean + simple cards interesting is when the artist layers the texture. I love the new embossing folder - Pretty Flowers - this should totally be on your wish list if it isn't already! I also love that tiny scalloped rectangle for the HELLO sentiment... such a sweet little detail that really draws your eye. Adding the twine under the sentiment panel instead of on top or adjacent, is something the designers for Stampin' Up! do A LOT, and I finally remembered to try it myself. I love the clean and simple look of this card. It's crisp-- and that Polished Pink makes it feel happy.
