Christmas in July Card Series: Trucking Along

This month I'm featuring a Christmas in July series to help you get a head start on your handmade Christmas cards. Each week, I'll share a simple card, that's easy to reproduce. Consider using it as inspiration for creating a batch of Christmas cards to help you put some "handmade" into your Christmas this year! Look for the printable project sheet below!

Today I'm sharing a card I created using a couple of the Stampin' Up! ONLINE EXCLUSIVE products---the Trucking Along stamp set and the One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Series Paper.

This stamp set features the pick-up truck image but the items for the back of the truck provide enough variety to make this a great year-round stamp set. Of course, the cute Christmas card I'm sharing today is one of my favorite ways to use this stamp set, but it would be a great set for creating a fun "new adventure" type card if someone is taking on a new job, or moving to a new state, or heading to college for the first time. It's also a great set for celebrations since one of the truck bed images is a group of presents and another is a few bins of confetti. Below are a closer look at the cards, including one I created using the cute sunflower images in the back.

In the video I made creating this card, I share an easy ink blending technique. You can watch that HERE.

So as I mentioned, the paper and stamp set I used to create this festive Christmas card are both ONLINE EXCLUSIVES from Stampin' Up!, which means they are available now, but may sell out and might not be brought back. The coordinating Truck Builder Punch, is currently unavailable but on order and should be back in stock by mid October. If you love this stamp set, I'd get it now, forget the bundle pricing and grab that set while it's available. You can add the Truck Builder Punch when it's back in stock, and then you'll have both components. Stampin' Up! truly does their best to gauge interest in the products they put in the online store, with market testing, but it's not a 100%. We just have to roll with it and hope the inventory issue gets better with time.

I also mentioned this is a great year-round stamp set. Here is another card, using the same supplies, just added a Misty Moonlight ink pad and some Blends markers to color in the sunflowers and leaves. Now I have a sweet card to send to a friend anytime of year!

I hope you enjoyed the cards this week and found that this stamp set is really fun even without the Truck Builder punch! If you'd like to shop for the stamp set, keep in mind that you can take advantage of the BONUS DAYS SALE from Stampin' Up! through July 31, 2023! See details and shopping link below...
